Olive Oil |
We used to live right round the corner from Frankie’s 457 Spuntino, a great modern Italian bistro, and they make their own extra-virgin olive oil from plantations in Italy. Best stuff around if you can get hold of some. |
Salt |
For most general purposes, coarse kosher salt like Morton’s is great. (Don’t use iodized table salt!) When you need the salt to add visual decoration or a crunchy texture, or if you need a gentler salt flavor, use Maldon Sea Salt. |
