Ingredients
2ouncesgin
3/4ouncelemon juice
1/2ouncehomemade violet syrupor use 1/4 ounce Crème de Violette
1/2ouncemaraschino syruprecommended: Luxardo
Maraschino cherriesfor garnish (optional)
Violet flowersfor garnish (optional)
Instructions
Combine all ingredients except garnishes in a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Shake for 30 seconds to a minute, then strain into a cocktail glass. Garnish with a cherry and violet flowers, if desired.
